Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of the business development strategy to ensure the alignment with Hikma's strategy
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
  • Contributes to the preparation of the Business development budget to ensure alignment with the approved set budget.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of external partners and stakeholders, you will form strategic alliances that ensure maximum market penetration and positive community impact
  • Analyses and compiles market research and competitor intelligence, conducting a more advanced analysis of the data, to understand customer behavior and the marketplace, and identify opportunities for growth or improvement.
  • Identifies niche opportunities, to maximize revenue and reduce cost in the market.
  • Supports pipeline growth through analysis and business case building for new product categories, to ensure sustainability of profitable business
  • Directs marketing research initiatives and activities through partnering with marketing; centrally and locally, across Hikma to translate business needs into an actionable research agenda; outputs that will guide marketing and help them in optimizing marketing strategies and tactics
  • Serves as a strategic business partner with sales and marketing to elevate the importance of early market access planning and integration into our culture.
  • Conducts company valuation of the potential M&A opportunities to estimate the value of the deals.
  • research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products - or new ways of reaching existing markets


Qualifications:

  • B. Sc. of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • MBA is a plus and preferred.
  • A minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience at a Top / Multinational Pharmaceutical company.
  • Strategic thinking, Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong intercultural, communication and problem-solving skills.
