Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie

Job Overview:
The Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for supporting the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operations of a designated kitchen section. They assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring that high culinary standards are met while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., vegetables, fish, or meat).
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the sections requirements.
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation before the dishes leave the kitchen.
- Help manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station at all times.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, proper storage, and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Support the Chef de Partie with training junior staff and helping them with their duties.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and contribute creative ideas to improve the menu.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Solid understanding of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
