About The Job

Danone MENA is looking for a highly dynamic Planning Coordinator for its Specialized Nutrition Business in the Middle East and North Africa region to be based in Cairo, Egypt.

This role is designed to

  • Support planning operations to ensure proper visibility and guarantee 100% stock availability in the markets
  • Contribute to the GPS process through improving data accuracy and timelines improvement
  • Coordinating with Deployment planner, documentation officer and D&L and any other relevant stakeholder to ensure documents accuracy and guarantee availability in markets

Key Accountabilities

  • Support to improve planning operations and achieve high standards of First Time Right data submissions

Systems

  • Support on monthly closing execution ( stocks, sales, IT ) through data consolidation., sense checking and upload in APO
  • Support on monthly demand upload through use of APO in collaboration with demand planning

1- File Readiness

  • Ensure Phase In Phase Out is done FTR as per PIPO tool
  • Check upload is 100% correct and matching the uploaded data before regional extraction
  • Support in improving submission KPIs FTR
  • APO closing FTR
  • Demand upload FTR
  • PIPO FTR

2- Orders

  • Support on order proposals
  • Extraction from Masterfile
  • Creation of new file
  • Inputs of data ( stocks, IT, forecast..) by customer
  • Adjust proposal
  • Review with DPM

3- GPS

  • Support on updating cluster GPS / GPS slides in collaboration with DPMs
  • Follow up on In transit stocks to ensure stock availability

4- Check IT file and update DPMs on status

  • Support on achieving 100% OTIF of customer orders through 100% FTR documentation
  • 100% documentation as per documentation matrix
  • Support on Ensuring shipping and export documents compliance with regulation through detailed documents check
  • Support on Working with Customer service, deployment and any other relevant stakeholder to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues
  • Support Addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipments and deliveries
  • Support updating matrix based on market dynamics and regulatory updates
  • Support customer service to track shipment, flag delays and inform relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting support in tracking shipment accuracy

  • FTR submission ( closing, demand, PIPO )
  • GPS meetings governance
  • Orders OTIF
  • Shipment accuracy ( documents OTIF, mode of transport, CT type, data loggers…)

JOB DIMENSIONS

  • Business impact (Value added of this role and contribution to the business (direct and indirect CANN impact, size of budget and/or headcount to manage) The role has a direct impact on business results as its KPIs directly affect the set targets.
  • Strategic contribution (leadership team membership, size and significance of portfolio to be managed, level of responsibility in the strategic planning process of the CBU, number and size of projects, etc.) The candidate should be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop a road map for the customer service and route to market for 3 years.
  • Geographic scope of the job; Middle East & North Africa (Gulf, Levant, Maghreb, Saudi, Egypt, Libya, Pakistan & Sudan)
  • Team management (size of team to hierarchically manage, local or remote management, national or international teams, diversity of skills and competencies managed) not applicable
  • Functional management (project leader or contributor, size of project team to manage, local or remote management, national or international teams, diversity of skills and competencies managed) will be required to contribute to international teams / projects
  • Main internal relations (size and function of the internal network (customers, peers, etc.) and the role of this position in these networks) The role involves a high level of interaction between internal stakeholders at the Middle East regional office, close collaboration with the supply points and the freight forwarders.
  • Main external relations (size and function of the external network (HCPs, scientists, stakeholders, etc.) and the role of this position in these networks) Liaison with Distributors & 3rd party providers as required.

About You

To be successful in the role you should ideally have

Education And Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a multinational FMCG and/or Pharma company
  • Primarily hands on knowledge on local distributor management and supply chain management.
  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often required.
  • Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point

Location

Cairo, Egypt.
