Job Purpose

The Technical Engineer for Commercial and Consumer CIS and Gulf Region will serve as a crucial link between Dubai HQ and local sales teams in assigned countries, providing expert technical knowledge on Bridgestone products. This role will enhance product understanding, support sales efforts, and ensure customer satisfaction across diverse markets, embodying Bridgestone's commitment to "Serving Society with Superior Quality.

Main Responsibilities

Technical Product Support (Commercial & Consumer) RACI

Main accountabilities:


  • Follow up on tire tests for new products and prototypes
  • Gather and analyze competitor tire information
  • Develop and maintain Product Power Index (Commercial)
  • Provide after-sales monitoring support (Commercial)


Accountable

Market Research and Analysis (Commercial & Consumer)

Main accountabilities:


  • Conduct operating condition surveys and scrap tire analysis
  • Perform Market Service condition Index (MSI) surveys (Commercial)
  • Collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) data
  • Execute count surveys to assess market presence


Accountable

Sales support (Commercial & Consumer)

Main accountabilities:


  • Provide product and claim handling training to local branch teams, distributor partners and fleet team
  • Daily support to sales team


Consult

Area quality management (Commercial & Consumer)

Main accountabilities:


  • Local claim handling
  • Claim data analysis
  • Quality Concern Information and PL report
  • Spec suitability judgment


Responsible

OE distributor approach (Consumer)

Main accountabilities:


  • Local OEM distributor approach


Consult

Standard & Regulation activities

Main accountabilities:


  • Local regulation monitor and negotiation with authority
  • Local tire certification arrangement

BASED IN DUBAI OFFICE

Primary : CIS Region - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

Secondary : Gulf Region - United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), Oman, Kuwait, Qatar

Experience And Qualifications


  • FLUENT RUSSIAN SPEAKER
  • Excellent English speaker (optional: Arabic)
  • Engineering University Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the tire industry within the technical segment
  • Proven track record in account management and technical sales
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation of technical information with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Power BI, Tableau or else.
  • Familiarity with both CIS and Gulf markets is highly desirable

Performance will be evaluated based on project-specific goals, including but not limited to:


  • Quality of market intelligence gathered and analyzed for diverse market conditions
  • Improvement in product performance and customer satisfaction metrics across all assigned markets
  • Effectiveness of technical support provided to sales teams in CIS and Gulf regions
