We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Waitress to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for French cuisine and fine dining service standards, along with the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. As the Head Waitress, you will ensure that our guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality, enhancing their overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management :

Oversee the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Train, supervise, and motivate waitstaff to uphold service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Conduct regular briefings and meetings to ensure team members are informed about menu changes, special events, and guest preferences.

Guest Relations:

Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner, addressing any special requests or dietary needs.

Handle guest inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.

Provide recommendations on food and wine pairings, enhancing the dining experience with expert knowledge of the French menu.

Service Excellence:

Maintain a high standard of service throughout each dining experience, adhering to fine dining protocols.

Monitor and manage the flow of service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Ensure that tables are set and cleared according to established guidelines, and that the dining area is kept clean and presentable.

Collaboration with Kitchen and Management:

Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to relay special requests, dietary restrictions, and feedback.

Work closely with the restaurant management to implement and uphold service standards and operational procedures.

Assist in managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.

Administrative Duties:

Assist in the preparation of staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.

Handle cash and billing procedures accurately and efficiently.

Conduct regular inventory checks and manage supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Waitress or similar role in a high-end, fine dining restaurant, preferably with a focus on French cuisine.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the UAE.
• Knowledgeable in using Macro system.
• Capable of working in a smoking area.
• Must be 5’7” in height.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
• Extensive knowledge of French food and mock tail drinks, including the ability to make informed recommendations to guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on guest service and satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
