MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To provide activity-based support in managing multiple warehouses for internal and external logistics, including forecasting requirements, demand planning, stock control, vendor liaison and managing the replenishment of stock at both home-base and outstation caterers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains a vendor database across various software systems used by flydubai for the supply of food and non-food items, including the management of vendor contracts, monitoring delivery in full on time performance (DIFOT), and coordinating vendor operational and product development meetings
- Maintains day to day stock control, including but not limited to ordering, tracking shipments, warehouse management, payment follow-up, and interaction with procurement, engineering, and finance teams to ensure continuous supply.
- Takes the lead on all stock-take requirements across all warehouses, ensuring a physical presence where required (audited stock-takes; special stock-takes), monthly equipment replenishment, and coordinating and liaising between all external service providers and internal Finance Department.
- Analyses usage rates of rotable and disposable stocks in caterer warehouses based on passenger loads and historical usage via weekly and monthly stock returns.
- Follows up with vendors and caterers regarding ad hoc emergency cabin loading and monthly equipment replenishment.
- Supports the Buy-on-Board products within the software system , maintaining stock levels, stock details, stock requirements for Point-of-Sale (POS) devices, conducting stock takes, addressing stock variances, and managing overall stock processes to ensure a seamless operation.
- Analyses the usage of Buy-on-Board products based on sales, reporting trend analysis to internal colleagues, and maintains stock levels to support sale peaks and demand.
- Supports in planning demand and managing vendors for all catering supplies in logistics and support functions.
- Maintains relationships with clearance agents, shippers, local agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods to warehouse.
- Conducts regular equipment audits at base catering station ensuring correct handling, stowage, optimal utilization of equipment and approving equipment write off.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Education Level
· Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Education Specific Requirement (if applicable)
· Degree qualified in a management discipline with relevant industrial experience in catering and/or supply chain in a catering environment.
· Specialized (Diploma level at least) in logistics and supply chain is desirable.
Licenses (if applicable)
· Ability to obtain a Permanent Pass for Dubai Airports and possess or acquire a valid Dubai Driving License suitable for obtaining a Dubai Airports Airside Driving Permit.

· Fluent in English

Professional Experience
· Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environments with high volumes.
· Familiarity with international shipping regulations across air, sea and land..
· Knowledge of logistics and infrastructure involved in import/export requirements.
· Familiarity with Dubai Municipality procedures pertaining to imports.
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
· High computer literacy including spreadsheeting and use of Microsoft tools for business.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
