Job Overview
As a Project Manager - Wealth Management at Emirates NBD, your role is to manage projects handled across Wealth Management and engage effectively with stakeholders across business, IT, Finance, Risk and compliance in delivering projects within the timelines in efficient manner and also provide governance and oversight on any issues related to the day to day functioning of the systems. The role holder is accountable for delivery of technology centric Projects and delivery of robust infrastructure across global locations of Wealth Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Business stakeholder engagement: Identifying all business stakeholders, collating the necessary business requirements & documenting business cases & requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- IT / Channels engagement: Working closely with the relevant Platform IT / channels teams and related squads to ensure that the projects are well understood and delivered
- Governance & oversight: Ensuring projects timelines and criteria’s around Project exit, test cases, UAT approach and well established and signed-off. Ensure clear visibility to management on progress of the projects and escalate challenges promptly for resolution. The Job role also involves active participation in the UAT / Pre pilot to ensure necessary validations and sign-off are procured and all documentation is in order
- Effective liaison: Responsible to act as an effective liaison between Business teams and tech solution owners / Channels to ensure smooth flow of communication and clarity in status of project across all relevant stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in the Wealth/Capital markets domain with atleast 5+ years experience in managing project deliverables / being an SME in this space
- Sound understanding of Wealth management products and process, trade and product life cycles
- Experience in implementation of trading platforms/portfolio management systems (preferable)
- Experience in working with multiple teams / stakeholders across business, IT and ability to work in an Agile model
- Quick in analysis and solution driven. Strategic and tactical problem solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects with effective stakeholder engagement
