Job Description

Executive Housekeeper responsibility is to oversee and manage the entire housekeeping of the resort and laundry function. Ensuring the department achieves the highest level of service delivery to the guests. Some of key responsibilities includes:

  • Plan manpower requirements to achieve an efficient usage of labour, considering business needs and seasonal trends.
  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly/Yearly Duty roster is share with team based on business
  • Prepare yearly budgets for housekeeping, laundry and landscaping.
  • Remain fully accountable for revenue objectives.
  • Makes recommendations to the Resort Manager or designate regarding the upkeep of furnishings, facilities, and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good repair as part of the Care programs.
  • Work with executive team colleagues across the hotel to ensure all guest requirements are met.
  • Sets and reviews standards and ensures effective training to meet the standards
  • Ensure that all public, guest-facing (Anantara Dhigu, Veli and Naladhu), Gulhifushi island and back of house areas of the hotel are properly cleaned at all times.
  • Ensure health & safety requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure that departmental SOPs/LSOPs are current and in effect and available for all Team Members to use as reference, revise and update when necessary.
  • Ensure a full grip of entire housekeeping (Arrival, Service, turndown and deep cleaning of the Villa)


Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in a five-star luxury Hotel / Resort.
  • A friendly, outgoing behavior, able to involve and support operation.
  • Self-motivated, a strong team player and enable to work under pressure
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Has strong decision-making abilities
