Job Description
- Independently scope flexible technical solutions and anticipate technical uncertainties.
- Responsible for making sure that the software code is correct, well-architected, secure, and maintainable.
- Lead code review and team design sessions.
- Create unit tests for the written code and carry out regression testing for new releases.
- Liason with UX, QE and DevOps engineering team to ensure a quality product is delivered to customers.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 2 years of related
- experience
- Proficient in Java
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks like SCRUM
- Working Knowledge of GitHub or other repositories
- Familiarity with: GraphQL, YAML, Gatsby, Redux, Node.js, REST API, UX, UI, Responsive Web Design, Working with JSON data structures.
- Possess a sense of ownership and professional pride
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a distributed/remote team environment
- Drive to be a self-starter and promote change when necessary
