Production Material Officer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Material Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, tracking, and management of all production materials required for our manufacturing process. As the Production Material Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of production materials
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production teams to forecast material needs
• Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure accurate and timely ordering of materials
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to optimize material flow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in relation to material handling and storage
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using inventory management software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in material handling and storage
