Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Talent Acqusition Specialist to support our team in designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy, sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, cold calling, head hunting, and conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions.


The ideal candidate should have excellent hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence others


This opportunity will be based in Dubai Air Navigation Services, where it provides air navigation services at four airports in the UAE, one of which is the world's busiest airport for international passengers, where their mission is to empower and develop all their people in delivering world-leading air navigation services that exceed every standard, assure their customers, and shape global innovation.


Key Accountabilities

  • The recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. They will also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • Responsible to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, cold calling, social media, attending careers fairs, etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote organisations reputation as “best place to work”.


Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a minimum of 5 years recruitment experience in ATS, Aviation or a closely related field.
  • Have solid and extensive experience in headhunting, networking, and building the talent pipeline
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, APC’s etc).
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc).
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centres (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
