Acute Medicine Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Acute Medicine Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients who require urgent medical attention for illnesses or injuries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be able to provide high-quality and compassionate care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of patients who require urgent medical attention.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients with acute medical conditions.
• Monitor and manage patients' progress throughout their treatment.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in acute medicine.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in medical research.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency and fellowship program in acute medicine.
• Board certification in acute medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Valid state medical license.
• An active DEA license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine or acute care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
• Proven track record of providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
