A Snapshot of Your Day

To strengthen our customs team in Siemens Energy we are looking for a dedicated and experienced candidate to perform customs classification, origin management (preferential / non-preferential), as well as for the customs clearances of goods under different customs procedures in Egypt.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Operate import and export customs clearance in cooperation with internal and external partners, by using the relevant ERP/SAP/trade solution processes.
  • Analyze and classify goods in accordance with customs regulations and considering the technical characteristics required for the classification process.
  • Analyze trade documents required for customs clearance and related processes for suppliers, associations, and other relevant market participants.
  • Calculate and determine the country of origin (preferential and non-preferential).
  • Broker Management: Instruct, control, and monitor brokerage activities.
  • Approve and coordinate payment transactions with banks and customs offices.


What You Bring

  • We would like to get to know you, if you have a professional education or a degree from a university in preferably engineering, trade or legal.
  • Your university degree or at least 1 year experience in the field of customs processes (import, export, customs tariff and (non/preferential) origin determination) convinces us to have found the right candidate.
  • First international experience (work in international teams, work abroad) is a plus.
  • Experience in customs/ERP IT systems would be a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
