Tool And Die Maker

As a Tool And Die Maker, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process by constructing and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all tooling equipment. This position requires a strong background in machining and tooling techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and perform precise measurements using a variety of tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble new tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering specifications.
• Repair and maintain existing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
• Perform tooling changes and adjustments to support production requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to identify and resolve tooling and production issues.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for all tooling equipment.
• Operate a variety of machine tools such as CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Inspect finished tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure they meet quality standards.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tool And Die Maker.
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of machining and tooling techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
