Child Development Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Child Development Specialist with a background in Psychology, Education, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with children, implementing strategies to support their emotional, social, and cognitive development, and working closely with families and educators to create the best possible outcomes for each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the developmental needs of children.
• Design and implement personalized educational and developmental programs.
• Work closely with children to help them develop emotionally, cognitively, and socially.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth.
• Provide guidance and support to families regarding their child's development and potential challenges.
• Monitor and track children's progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
• Conduct assessments to identify any behavioral, emotional, or developmental concerns.
• Stay updated on the latest research and practices in child psychology and education.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and behavior.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with children, parents, and educators.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering the growth of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of developmental disorders, learning challenges, and behavioral interventions is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications or training in child psychology, special education, or therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in early childhood education or child counseling.
  
  

Working Hours

Option 1: from 10 AM to 6PM .

Option 2: from 12 PM to 8PM.

Candidates must be from Al Ain.
