We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team. You will gain experience working in accounting processes, financial analysis, and contributing to the financial health of the organization. This passionate Cash Coordinator will be working on finance and accounting activities at SNAP14 working closely with the Finance and Accounting Lead.
Here are the job functions:
- Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist in data entry, and processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in financial analysis by preparing variance reports, trend analysis, and other ad-hoc reports.
- Learn and apply accounting principles and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with audits and compliance activities, ensuring proper documentation and internal controls.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements.Assist with procurement and supplier onboarding. Making sure all suppliers have completed all required documentation and have signed
- Issue petty cash and maintaining cash receipts.
- Creation of documents (SOPs, memos, invoices, payment vouchers, etc)
- Maintain files and records to document transactions.
- Prepare payroll to include monthly salary payments, salary tax payments, employee’s documentation filing, social social insurance and medical insurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

- An understanding of financial statements and reports.
- Great communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- An analytical mind, with strong attention to detail.
- Written and verbal English and Arabic is a must.
- Understanding of accounting software.
- Preferably with previous experience with Zoho apps and/or other software tools i.e. Zoho Books, Google suite and Zoho One.
- Good understanding of analytics software is a plus.
