The Risk Policy Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks. This role will work closely with senior leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the organization's operations, financial performance, and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks across the organization.
- Analyze risk factors and their potential impact on business objectives.
- Develop risk matrices and scoring systems to prioritize risks.
- Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with the organization's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that policies are clearly communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all credit applications are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Create, review, and revise company's credit policies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and make adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of retail & SMEs experience in risk management or a related field.
- Ability to build partnerships and good management skills.
- Can identify problems and have the experience to take the proper corrective actions according to their authority.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Power point).
- Excellent command of Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication skills.
