Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain Planning. Your role will be instrumental in managing the comprehensive planning for various categories, including supply planning, distribution, and material planning. You will act as the primary liaison between our global business services cluster and the regional planning lead, ensuring that market plans are effectively implemented and that service levels and working capital targets are achieved.

This role is slated to be part of our Capability Center starting from 2024. As such, there will be an initial period of ambiguity as processes are adopted and transitioned. This will require you to be flexible and adaptable as processes are primarily fixed, then shifted and improved over subsequent strategy cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the cross-category planning processes for our Global Business Services.
  • Managing the cross-category team and working closely with the organization to ensure the delivery of our Annual Operating Plan targets.
  • Delivering key performance indicators such as service, inventory targets, and obsolescence.
  • Collaborating with the business unit to ensure an effective monthly sales and operating plan cycle.
  • Representing us at strategic meetings with the market as the integration point between the market and our global business services.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in all aspects of planning.
  • Experience in line management.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of end-to-end supply systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in product category planning.
  • Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions or departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing, or end-to-end planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
  • Understanding the links between production plans, plant annual operating plans, productivity initiatives, and customer service.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Problem-solving know-how and analytical skills.
  • Mastery of planning methodologies like heuristics, optimization, etc.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact with multicultural teams spread across various geographies.
