ITP Media Group, one of the largest and most influential media companies in the Middle East, is seeking a talented and dynamic Photographer/Videographer to join our team.

This role is integral to the production of high-quality visual content for our portfolio of brands, including Time Out, Arabian Business, Hotelier, and Caterer Middle East. Based in our Dubai Media City office, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both videography and photography, with a particular focus on shooting profile shots for magazine covers, inside pages, and digital content, as well as creating engaging video content across various formats.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photography: Capture high-quality profile shots, cover images, and editorial photography for magazines and digital platforms. Ensure each image aligns with the brand’s visual identity and editorial standards.
  • Videography: Lead the production of video content across formats including interviews, live events, and features. This includes filming on set and on location, ensuring all necessary equipment is properly set up and maintained.
  • Visual Storytelling: Bring creative vision to life through both still and moving images, ensuring consistency in quality and style from start to finish.
  • Technical Expertise: Manage the setup and breakdown of cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment. Ensure optimal lighting, audio clarity, and correct lens choice for both photography and videography projects.
  • Post-Production: Undertake minor editing of both video footage and photographs, ensuring final outputs are polished and meet the required specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams and clients to plan and execute shoots according to an agreed brief or storyboard. Collaborate with the production team to adhere to schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in both photography and videography, particularly across social media platforms, and apply these insights to enhance content quality and engagement.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and update equipment inventory, ensuring all gear is in proper working order and readily available for shoots.
  • Time Management: Self-supervise and manage time effectively, working to flexible hours as needed for early or late shoots. Coordinate with the production team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Skills:

  • Photography and Videography: Expert knowledge in both photography and videography, including lighting, composition, and camera operation. Experience in capturing profile shots and editorial photography is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using professional camera equipment such as Canon Mark IV, EOSR, Sony FX3, CR5, or similar, along with audio equipment like shotgun and lapel mics. Strong experience in lighting and grip work.
  • Post-Production Software: Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop. Experience with After Effects is desirable.
  • Creativity and Flexibility: Ability to operate creatively, dynamically, and flexibly when situations change or challenges arise.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Professionalism: Maintains a professional approach at all times, ensuring all work meets the high standards of ITP Media Group.
