Today, we are recruiting a Commercial Project Manager to join our Mobility Project Team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for Professionals to join a truly high-performance international team executing several signaling projects upgrading the current rail infrastructure in Egypt to ensure overall safety in the Egyptian Rail network.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Ensure the compliance with the guidelines for all commercial aspects.
  • Validate the accuracy of project books and records, including records in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP.
  • Verify compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local GAAP requirements, along with ensuring all related project reporting and controlling activities.
  • Ensure with the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets, are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
  • Communicate with customers commercial representatives and solve commercial issues.
  • Set up the contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies, and response activities as well as taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Support the Project Manager to select and involve partners and subcontractors.
  • Review project reports with dedicated participation in project review meetings with business unit management.
  • Represent the project in the relevant decision boards internally and externally.
  • Agree on targets with commercial project staff and delegates defined responsibilities and authority.
  • Lead the commercial project team members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establish a culture of trust and integrity.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience on Current and relevant Commercial and Legal Issues relating to Project Management, practical experience on all relevant functions and tasks related to commercial and contracting activities.
  • Experience in project management, service business and project controlling.
  • Ability to work in a strong Multinational environment.
  • Results and quality oriented, analytical skills, initiative, assertiveness, teamwork, ownership, and customer orientation.
  • Fluency in English language both spoken and written.
  • PM/CPM Certifications to manage C projects is a plus.
