Key Responsibilities:

  • Class Instruction:
    • Lead group fitness classes
    • Develop and deliver class content that is engaging, challenging, and suitable fitness levels.
    • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants perform exercises safely and effectively.
  • Class Planning and Organization:
    • Create and organize class schedules and workout plans that align with the fitness goals of participants.
    • Incorporate a variety of exercises and formats to keep classes dynamic and interesting.
  • Participant Engagement and Motivation:
    • Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages participants to achieve their fitness goals.
    • Provide individual attention and modifications to accommodate participants with different fitness levels or injuries.
    • Use positive reinforcement and motivational techniques to keep participants engaged and committed.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure that all exercises and activities are performed safely and in accordance with best practices.
    • Monitor participants for signs of injury or fatigue and provide modifications or adjustments as needed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area and equipment.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay current with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices through continued education and certification.
    • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with other fitness professionals and staff to enhance the overall fitness program.
    • Contribute to a positive team environment and support fellow instructors and staff members.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Attendance and participant records.
    • Assist with marketing and promotion of group fitness classes and programs.
    • Handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, equipment inventory, and class logistics.
Requirements

Skills:

  • Current certification from a recognized fitness organization
  • Strong knowledge of exercise techniques and fitness principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants of diverse fitness levels.
  • Proficiency in using fitness equipment and technology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of participants.
  • English communication is a must
