Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, is looking for a dedicated
Sales Administrator to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The newly opened Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park includes 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.
Your day to day
- Prepare all administration documents required by the Hotel sales team
- Attend to telephone, email enquiries in a timely manner
- Co-ordinate all site inspections as required
- Attend sales meetings as required
- Attend to all sales department mail and maintain a correspondence data base
- Assist with direct mail / EDM campaigns
- Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic)
- Maintenance and management of data base
- Assist with promotions where requested
- Organize Trade shows, functions and exhibitions where applicable and advised by Superiors
- Assist with compilation of annual budgets, business plan and regular action plans
- Assist with tender submissions
- Stock control of collateral and tracker
- Co-ordinate and maintain supply of corporate gifts and promotional items
- Assist with the planning and development of promotional strategies and for the hotel
- Work in line with business needs
- Responsible of sending Meeting Planner Survey
- Communicating Daily Event Listings
- Responsible of issuing and tracking voucher
- Responsible on posting of departmental attendance for the payroll
- Assisting Director of Sales and Group and Events Manager (when needed)
- Creating contracted rates
What We Need From You
Ideally, this role requires a highly organized individual who is energetic, self-motivated with the ability to work on their own initiative and the ability to multi-task, deal with a lot of pressure and demands whilst remaining calm and working effectively is essential. The Sales Administrator will show incredible attention to detail, along with the ability to pick things up quickly - therefore, being diplomatic and polite at all times is important. Assertiveness accompanied by respect and good emotional intelligence is an essential quality.
Additional requirements:
- Proficiency ln the use of office software products (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Minimum 1 years
- experience in a similar position preferably in 4/5-star hotel.
