In this role you will be responsible for working the Front End OFSETO process with multiple plants with both MET and Procurement responsibilities. The role will need the ultimate in flexibility and agility to ensure that you are assisting where there is the greatest need. This is a high visibility role working in a Procurement and Manufacturing roles at multiple plants at the same time. This role is working in the highly dynamic “Engineer to Order” part of the business where you work hand in hand with Engineering as our Type 3 and 4 products moving through the front end process.

As Engineer to Order – Flex Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Being part of OFSETO Core Team which will support multiple plants in the “Engineer to Order” process and will be a flex resource between plants and assist where there is the most need.
  • This role goes beyond the traditional MET role and will also have the ability to perform Procurement functions as well so that they have the ultimate flexibility to assist
  • Creating process routings in an accurate and expeditious manner
  • Quoting turn-key, raw material, and OP
  • Defining and controlling production process including tooling and equipment. Validating design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Redefining processes and procedures on a regular basis and require frequent interaction with adjacent functions
  • Handling latitude in manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

  • Bachelor's degree (or high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • 2 years of SAP experience
  • Manufacturing knowledge of one or more of the following; Flow Control, Packers, Sub-surface Safety Systems, IPS, Liner Hangers, and/or Wellbore Intervention equipment
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in
  • Creating routings,
  • Costing
  • Creating Plant BOMs.
  • Knowledge of Baker Specifications
