Overview

The Senior Specialist will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our IT department and sales and marketing teams. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing technology solutions that enhance our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both IT systems and sales and marketing processes and strategies, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements and processes from stakeholders.

Sales And Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Develop IT solutions that support sales and marketing strategies, such as CRM enhancements, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Project Management

  • Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Technology Implementation

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve sales and marketing operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Provide training and support to users to ensure effective adoption of new technologies.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the liaison between IT and sales/marketing departments.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT systems and sales/marketing processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Agile) is a plus.
