Job Description

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Support role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, encompassing tasks such as receiving, picking, storing, and dispatching inventory. This position is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations.

What’s on Your Plate?

  • Inventory Management:
    • Inspect received items for damage or discrepancies, verify their quantity and quality against delivery notes, and report any issues to relevant authorities.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of received inventory, and store items in designated areas to facilitate easy retrieval.
    • Prepare inventory for distribution based on anticipated demand to avoid delays in operations.
  • Data Management:
    • Record all inventory-related transactions accurately and promptly in the inventory management system (WYB). Regularly double-check data to minimize errors and discrepancies.
    • Update inventory files (Google Sheets) daily with accurate information on stock levels, issuance, and other inventory-related details.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Address riders’ queries with a helpful attitude and manage any crowds or gatherings during inventory distribution to ensure smooth operations.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to fleet partners’ queries via email or phone, providing accurate information as required.
  • Inventory Accuracy:
    • Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy and resolve any discrepancies found during the counting process.
  • Reusables and Scrap Management:
    • Maintain a dedicated area for reusable inventory, ensuring items are distributed to riders as needed and that stock levels are sufficient.
    • Organize and handle scrap items separately from usable inventory. Keep detailed records of scrap items and coordinate their disposal or recycling with the shredding company in accordance with established procedures.
What did we order?

  • Education and Experience:
    • Diploma with 3-4 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Support/Associate in the eCommerce industry.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Proficiency in data input, retrieval, and analysis.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English and Urdu/Hindi is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
    • UAE driving License is preferable.
