Job Description
Summary: Provide exceptional service to guests during banquets and events by ensuring efficient and professional food and beverage service. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet areas, and deliver a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Service: Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner. Serve food and beverages according to banquet/event specifications.
- Setup & Cleanup: Set up banquet areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware. Clean and reset tables and banquet spaces as needed.
- Coordination: Work closely with banquet staff and kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Guest Interaction: Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively. Handle any issues or complaints with professionalism and tact.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture and equipment as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience within a luxury hotel in food and beverage service, especially in a banquet or event setting, is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
