Inventory Control Associate Manager | MAF Entertainment | Cinemas

Role Summary

The role of Inventory Control Associate Manager is to ensure the inventory database is accurately maintained and stock takes are completed according to the established policy. A key aspect of the role is maintaining the stock levels within the budget set by the business. Minimizing the wastage, variance and controlling the cost are foremost KPIs for this role.

ROLE PROFILE

• Ensures the cinema site’s inventory to ensure seamless and reliable operations .
• Manages the purchasing and replenishment of the retail products sold in the cinemas.
• Works closely with inventory supervisors and Cinema managers to review major stock discrepancies.
• Maintains the storeroom and the allocation of space for stock and ensures the storeroom meets Organization Health Safty regulations.
• Observes the correct buying and receiving protocols.
• Provides needed support to inventory control supervisors and cinema managers to control losses and decrease the variance.
• Conducts spot checking of stock and checking the expiry date and recipes.
• Purchases inventory within the agreed budgets.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Business, Hospitality, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 3- 5 years inventory management/supply chain management in a food/retail service environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail
• Strong computer and inventory software proficiency, to include Microsoft Office Suites.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
