Job Title: Reservations Agent
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are hiring on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a premium dhow cruise services company based in Dubai. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual looking to contribute to a high-end hospitality and tourism business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless reservations and providing outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Customer Inquiries: Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries about cruise services, packages, and availability, providing guests with clear and accurate information.
- Booking Management: Manage reservations through the companys booking system, ensuring accurate entry of customer details and confirmation of bookings.
- Sales & Upselling: Promote premium packages and upsell services (e.g., private charters, dining upgrades) to enhance guest experiences and maximize revenue.
- Coordinate with Operations: Liaise with the operations team to ensure smooth coordination of bookings and special events.
- Process Payments: Handle customer payments, issue invoices, and manage financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Address Customer Concerns: Provide excellent customer service before and after bookings, handling cancellations, rescheduling, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all reservations, payments, and customer interactions for reporting and marketing purposes.
- Support Events: Assist with group bookings, private events, and special cruise charters, ensuring all details are coordinated effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality, preferably within the tourism, hospitality or cruise sector.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages such as Arabic, French, or Russian are a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in reservation management software, Microsoft Office, and online booking platforms.
- Sales-Oriented: Ability to upsell services and promote premium experiences to guests.
- Customer-Focused: Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends, and holidays as required in the tourism industry.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing bookings, payments, and customer records.
