We're looking for a Sales Manager for Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Location

Experience-10-15 years

Industry-Energy & Mining, Mining & Metals, Oil & Energy

This company deals with B2B trading of heavy equipment products.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales customers to ensure achievement of sales targets set by the company/Manager
  • Ensure that the companys sales targets are understood and met
  • Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of orders.
  • Submit orders by referring to price and product list
  • Keep management informed of sales and target progress by submitting activity and results reports, weekly and monthly plans
  • Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques and share this information with the rest of the sales team.
  • Recommend changes in the products and services by evaluating the results and competitive developments
  • Assist other Sales Representatives with technical questions as and when needed
  • Resolve customer complaints by investing in problems and providing solutions
  • Maintain records of area and customer sales on hard and soft copy using the ERP system. Enter all data and information relating to purchase and inventory to the ERP system
  • Work hand in hand with the storekeeper to ensure that all physical stock is the same with the system and that no stock is misused and misplaced. Keep records of all inventory transactions and stock levels.
  • Receive the internal requisition for materials as per the customer purchase order and request of the inspection department for equipment and tools
  • Verify the present stock level and availability with the existing supplier
  • Assist the branch manager in preparing the approved supplier list
  • Perform other duties that may assigned by the Operation Manager time to time.
