About the location:

This stunning resort-style hotel opened in June 2007 and has a combination of classic hotel design and modern and contemporary beach suites and villas. Our hotel is connected to a shopping mall, it has 154 rooms including 31 Suites, 30 Beach Suites and 6 Villas with private pools, a private beach, a sea water infinity beach pool and a heated indoor pool, Spa and Fitness Center, and 10 food and beverage venues including an open-air 350 seat beach restaurant.
About The Role
Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano is looking for a Hotel Assistant Manager who will be responsible of the Front Desk operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
What You Will Do
1- Manage the staff at the Front Desk. Interviews, trains and schedules the staff. Conduct Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed.
2- Coordinate arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department. Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups.
3- Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest
interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
What You Bring
1- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
2- Bachelor's Degree
3- Strong supervisory and managerial skills.
4- The ability to display, at all times, a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all dealings with guests, patrons and other employees.
5- Has the ability to understand and comply with upscale luxuries Hotel operation standards.
