This position reports to

ELDS Local Division Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to provide general administrative services and/or secretarial assis-tance at local country, function or business level.

The work model for this role (onsite)

This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area based in 10th Ramadan Cairo Egypt.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Performing complex administrative activities and taking responsibility for delivering specific department processes/programs.
  • Researching, compiling and issuing special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc.
  • Responsible for different communication tasks within the area of responsibility, ensuring knowledge and information is shared and keeping others up to date
  • Implementing ABB processes and initiating continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Acting as point of contact for internal/external enquiries by phone and email, initiating action and making judgments about urgency of issues. Providing confidential support to individual executives and/or management team members.
  • Coaching, and may have solid line manager responsibility for more junior administration staff.
  • Arranging business critical internal/external events, including for example travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, visiting speakers etc.
  • Providing financial support on a department/project level, monitoring budget spend, raising and approving requisitions/invoices, etc.


Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration /accounting / engineering/ mass communications or any relevant major
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management & capable to handle problems, work on it and solve it smoothly.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office package, ERP SAP, presentation skills, communication skills, ability to drive change.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic Language
