Job Purpose
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in material handling, storing, and loading of production operations materials, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures. Ensure the chemicals handling
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Support warehouse material handling standards by contributing to strategic plans, strategic reviews and identifying warehousing operational improvements.
- Supervise vendors/ technical partners’ resources and material handling on day-to-day basis.
- Oversee the handling of materials being moved to and from warehouse and communicate with related departments to fulfill their material handling requirements.
- Ensure all material handling activities being conducted by employees is as per: special instructions shared by departments/ clients, organization policies & procedures and conducted in a safe manner.
- Track and coordinate receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Ensure smooth warehousing operations by enforcing operating instructions, basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations or any specific storage requirements.
- Ensure Coordinate with HSE Compliance Engineers to ensure warehouse operations are executed as per operating standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in inventory & warehouse management related to the Oil & Gas industry with at least five years at senior supervisory level.
- In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas warehouse, tendering, inventory policies and processes in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
- Proficient in English.
