Job Description
- Review reconciles and process import / export documentation and customs entries for assigned accounts including all entry types prepared according to regulatory requirements.
- Identify and complete transactions that require special handling. or expediting to produce compliant customs entry processing.
- Release, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin/Compliance, Bill of Lading, Airwaybill and any other required documentation) to ensure the proper filing of entry information to Customs office.
- Investigate and resolve troubled shipments
- Meet all import and export restrictions, Tariff systems, Insurance requirements and all other customs related matters for Import, Export, Re-Export, Transit-In, Transit-Out, Temporary Entry Free Zone Etc.
- Verifying the clearance documents based on Dubai customs rules and regulations and ensure correct documentation type based on listing available in Dubai Trade Customs Website.
- Prepare customs declaration and pay customs duties &Taxes in time to clear the consignment.
- Liaise with different organization such as Municipality, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA), MOFAIC, DOH, CITUS, MOD, FIRA, etc . as and when required to support clients with their application for obtaining approval.
- Coordinate with Customs and update changes in clearance process and tariffs if any.
- Ensure correct HS Codes are used while processing Customs declaration.
- Ensure Importer/Exporter has valid Trade license copy with Customs code before processing Customs declarations
- Arrange for Customs inspection through Customs online portal and share Customs inspection slot with Expedition Team, so Transport and Customs card holder could be arranged to enable Customs inspection.

- High School Graduate
- Certificates & Licenses: E-clearance certificate from UAE Customs
