Job Title: Business Partnership Specialist


Department: Technology


 


Role Purpose: 


Serve as a strategic liaison between Technology Department and Business Sectors within the organization. Support in collaborating with business sectors to align technology projects with organizational objectives, driving innovation and business value through technology in-line with the defined objectives and strategies.


 


Key Responsibilities:


 


Business Strategy & Analysis:




  • Provide support to work with business units to propose projects that align with both business and technology strategies in-line with the defined strategies.

  • Evaluate and analyse requests from the business to ensure alignment with broader DCT strategic initiatives including technology, experience simplification, and other mandated activities.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational and business efficiencies and develop business cases showcasing the business value of proposed projects.

  • Contribute to a shared vision for business solutions, influencing the technology utilized to fulfil the broader transformation vision of the organization.

  • Support in establishing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact between technology teams and business units.

  • Understand and articulate the business priorities, challenges, and processes, translating business needs into technology requirements.

  • Provide support in anticipating gaps and overlaps within the technology and project portfolio, creating consensus regarding solution delivery timings.

  • Stay up-to-date and engage in field research for new solutions and evaluate existing ones.

  • Support in producing RFPs/RFIs/RFQs based on approved requirements and support in vendor selection in collaboration with business units, procurement, and Technology vendor management.

  • Assume a lead role in additional duties and responsibilities as directed by senior management, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency. 







  • Champion adherence to all relevant departmental policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines, ensuring work across teams is cohesive and consistent. 







  • Exemplify and promote the organization's values and ethics, driving a culture of integrity and value-centricity. 







  • Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement, focusing on global standards, potential for productivity enhancement, and cost-efficiency. 







  • Play a proactive role in EHS initiatives, ensuring adherence to DCT’s Occupational Safety and Health policy and regulations, and support the Corporate EHS in the optimal execution of the OSHMS.




  • Promptly report and provide insights on any incidents, unsafe practices, and conditions to higher management, and participate in high-level discussions for the investigation of OSH incidents as required.

Qualifications  




  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other decree within relevant industry.  



Experience 





  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in Technology or any relevant role.  







  • Relevant experience with Technology Project Management principles and practices is preferred.

  • Good business acumen with the ability to understand and navigate complex organizations. 




  • Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing. 




  • Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.  




  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders/vendors and cross-functional team members. 







  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner. 







  • Ability to  translate business needs into clear and effective technical solution.  







  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill - including appropriate stakeholder alignment.
