Key Responsibilities Roles And Responsibilities:
- Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, 5-year plans, and forecasts
- Support management in setting quantitative objectives
- Develop and implement reports to track sales performance by distribution channel, SKU, etc.
- Analyse and optimize the entity's cost structure
- Report actuals vs budget/forecast/previous year on a monthly basis in the P&L
- Explain and justify variances in financial performance
- Oversee business data analysis and deliver actionable insights
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all operational reports
Financial Reporting and Control
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance to ensure accurate recording of MEA CO financials, including income statements and balance sheets at the corporate level
- Ensure compliance with Group financial procedures and policies within the management entity
- Enforce Group purchasing policies and review purchase order approvals
- Support corporate in reviewing compliance with local expense claims
- Maintain the general ledger on the company’s accounting system (Syspro)
Supply Chain and Local Warehouse Management
- Manage accurate, proactive, and timely stock forecasts
- Serve as the main contact point for Corporate Supply Chain
- Oversee all local warehouse-related operating procedures
Treasury
- Ensure cash flow management within Group parameters, including maintaining cash flow forecasts
- Monitor overdue accounts and work with the sales team to recover outstanding amounts
Local Compliance
- Liaise with local tax advisors and corporate finance for timely submission of corporation and sales tax
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payments of tax instalments
- Support Group audit queries and requests
Essential:
- MEA region experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Proven experience working with large volumes of data from multiple sources
- Arabic & English Language
Desirable:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proficiency in French.
