(Senior) Trader – Feed Commodities

Job Description

The position is responsible for Trading Feed commodities with products like Corn, Soybean meal, Barley etc. The incumbent will be part of a team with the responsibility to manage and build relationship with customers and to explore growth opportunities in the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive sales and volume by executing Marketing/Trading strategies for Feed commodities with a focus on the Middle East, particularly in GCC and Levant.
• Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand dynamics, and identify trading opportunities.
• Oversee contracts execution, to liaise with all relevant internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage credit terms and other relevant risks according to company’s policies and procedures.
• Identifying and executing arbitrage opportunities that add value to the Group
• Stay informed about regulatory changes, tariffs, and trade policies affecting agricultural commodities.
• Compiling and distributing accurate market information and communicating this with other members of the Group and the wider ADM divisions.
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree with business/economic/trading background preferred
• Minimum 10 years commercial experience, including trading and logistics in agricultural commodities
• Proven experience as a Trader or Sales Manager in the agricultural commodities industry, specifically in Feed commodities.
• Strong network and established relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders, particularly in GCC and levant .
• Deep understanding of market fundamentals, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus
