Key Responsibilities

  • Data Transformation and Management: Utilize advanced Excel, Power Query,Power Pivot, and advanced SQL to transform and manage financial data efficiently.
  • Data Visualization on Metabase Reports: Create and maintain financial reports in Metabase, ensuring data accuracy and translating stakeholder requirements into interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Monthly Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports for the leadership team.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial results and KPIs, providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist Finance & Strategy Manager in annual budgeting and forecasting process to aid in understanding future financial performance.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models analyse financial data, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Pricing and Cost Analysis: Prepare pricing models, unit economics reports, and perform profitability and cost analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement projects to scale and enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Board Reporting: Support the preparation of quarterly board and investor reporting packs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Advanced skills in Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced SQL is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with strong analytical and data visualization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and independent judgment.
  • Bias for action including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
