Key Responsibilities
- Data Transformation and Management: Utilize advanced Excel, Power Query,Power Pivot, and advanced SQL to transform and manage financial data efficiently.
- Data Visualization on Metabase Reports: Create and maintain financial reports in Metabase, ensuring data accuracy and translating stakeholder requirements into interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Monthly Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports for the leadership team.
- Financial Analysis: Analyse financial results and KPIs, providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist Finance & Strategy Manager in annual budgeting and forecasting process to aid in understanding future financial performance.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models analyse financial data, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Pricing and Cost Analysis: Prepare pricing models, unit economics reports, and perform profitability and cost analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement projects to scale and enhance financial processes and controls.
- Board Reporting: Support the preparation of quarterly board and investor reporting packs.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
- Advanced skills in Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced SQL is a must.
- Proficient in MS Excel, with strong analytical and data visualization skills.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes.
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and independent judgment.
- Bias for action including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
