Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient operations of our warehouse within the infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations, with a proven track record of success in the infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and equipment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Inventory Control:

• Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Supply Chain Management:

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage transportation and logistics activities.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.

Cost Management:

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce warehouse costs, including labor, storage, and transportation expenses.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors.

Quality Control:

• Ensure quality standards are met for all incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and non-conformance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
