Job Description

Operational Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review all the received studies and coordinate with business process team to make sure that no processes are duplicated and overlaps at Dubai customs.
  • Support organizational development and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of thedeliverables for working towards continuous improvement.
  • Create, review and updating of the job descriptions and evaluating them, and adding the required competencies and capabilities for all jobs within the department’s organizational and functional structure and career path matrix, in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensure that all enquiries received from the departments are answered solved and provide support for unresolved problems and review call logs and reports, verifying compliance with procedures.
  • Oversee handling of Human Resource Portal in order to ensure publishing or sharing of essential structures, job descriptions and career path and updating knowledge of employees about the importance of career path.
  • Review studies on Human Resource Support Services and make recommendations and advice on enhancing support for Human Resource activities.
  • Contribute for improving Human Resource activities/processes in Dubai Customs by providing information for incorporating efficient Human Resource standards, strategies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures as well as implementation of the Human Resource Support methodologies and technologies for improving efficiency and productivity in the organization to attain goals that are measurable and achievable.
  • Manage the conflicts and overlaps in processes and monitor the handling of employees’ appeals or grievances and execution of decisions to address and solve customer complaints ensuring communication of outcome to the employees and their satisfaction.
  • Monitor implementation of rewards linked to performance to appreciate employees’ contribution to Dubai Customs.
  • Ensure that relevant employees, stakeholders or customers are communicated about relevant Human Resource related information or Services, timely and correctly to improve Human Resource services and attain employee or customer satisfaction.
  • Remain up-to-date with systems, products and procedures and research, identify and apply the best practices trends for process improvements to enhance the productivity.
  • Performa all the assigned tasks from the line manager with reliability, honesty, and discretion

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management

Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resource
