Your role at Clorox:

As the Logistics Customer Service Lead, you will oversee order to cash management, cost control, and efficient supply chain coordination across MENA (Gulf) operations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with distributors, managing suppliers including internal and external manufacturer, optimizing shipping schedules, and ensuring accurate documentation. This pivotal role ensures exceptional customer service and streamlines logistics operations.

In this role, you will:

Execution: 40%

  • Interact with our customers to ensure their requirements are understood and met. This includes improvements to how we work together.
  • Manage full OTC for all customers. Including but not limited to order placement, invoicing, credits, and communication within in agreed service levels.
  • Engage in a growth culture by creating a continuous improvement and collaborative environment.
  • Ensure the team operates with degree of professionalism and complies with Clorox.
  • Process sales orders and order management for the agreed customers within the Gulf region.
  • Responsible obtaining desired shipping schedules to distributors.
  • Responsible for day to day flow of orders with all suppliers.
  • Reviewing shipment documents and addressing discrepancies.
  • Manage distributor and supplier issues within the Gulf region.
  • Coordinating with CIC/sales/finance for addressing system discrepancies.

Business Results and Targets: 30%

  • Manage to ship all orders against agreed targets.
  • Manage order management process against agreed customer expectations.
  • Track and engage with cross-functional teams for all customer claims.
  • Update monthly volume report to the team.
  • Tracking and updating shipment log against agreed targets.
  • Update the Consolidated order plan to ensure production are completed on time to meet the target.
  • Update the team with actual vs forecast plan.
  • Engage with the planning team to ensure inventory holdings are maintained to support the business case fill rates.
  • Continuously seeking for cost savings opportunities to contribute in delivering the yearly targets.
  • Develop and maintain the “Perfect Order including CFR, OTS” KPI. Review and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) that directly impact our customers/distributors.

Efficiency, Innovation and NPD: 20%

  • Ensure PI’s and CI’s are issued on time for US and Asia orders.
  • Review and confirm the invoices received from supplier for shipments.
  • To align the SOP across the Gulf region and implement standard processes for order management.
  • Work with the sales team to standardize sales order processing.
  • To manage KPI’s against agreed targets.
  • Conduct regular continuous improvement and process effectiveness/efficiency reviews.
  • Working with project managers to support new product development projects where required.
  • Update IE tracker for new product request and ensure it’s approved on time.
  • Process sample request for new items to the distributors.
  • Support the introduction of New Products by ensuring fulfillment of required setup and listing processes and supplied to customers as per the project alignment.
  • Development of Power BI tools, supporting Gulf PSO.

Communication and Networking: 10%

  • Work with the sales teams to ensure support of and understanding of the customer requirements.
  • Work with logistics on a daily basis to ensure performance is achieved against targets.
  • Ensure invoices received from freight forwarder and suppliers are as per agreed rates.
  • Ensuring timely payment of freight charges and update freight forwarder payment tracker.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 3+ years covering below areas.
  • Day to day logistics supplier management
  • Strong understanding logistics networks and quality management.
  • Capable of delivering business KPI’s against target.
  • Good analytical skill
  • Good understanding and capability in cost savings and continuous improvement
  • Good experience in global logistics and local distribution

b. Education Level/Degree:

  • Bachelor or above
  • Industrial engineering, supply chain and operation management or relevant business degree.
  • c. Technical Skills:
  • Know the process of supply planning and logistics operation.
  • Relationship management of external providers plus experience.
  • Has good knowledge on logistics networks and quality management.
  • Very strong analytical and problem solving skills. Has a keen financial and cost sense.
  • Strong in communication and alignment, and be able to present self well in both oral and written English.
  • Be able to work independently, and interdependently with multi-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills and experiences will be a plus
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically excel & power BI

d. Managerial Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Communication & presentation capability
  • Strong leadership (fully in charge of project, by owning the execution and results) and strong communication and influencing skill (work highly effectively with multi-functional people, both internal and external that he/she doesn’t have direct supervisor/control)
  • Possess holistic understanding and experiences of end-to-end supply chain management
  • Excellent interpersonal relations
  • Experience of influencing colleagues and communicating a point of view.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and strong analysis skills.

e. Other Languages Required:

  • Good command of local languages & English (both Oral English and written)
