Job Purpose

  • As a Paralegal you will be supporting Legal team on topics related to legal operations such as: vendor management (incl. law firms), financials (incl. legal budget tracking, processing invoices, cooperation with shared service center), reporting, data management, knowledge management, administrating legal projects, knowledge management.
  • Perform administrative and technical tasks assigned to the Legal Function incl. support to Legal team on calendar management, travel arrangements, expense retirement and other assigned tasks to ensure personal and business affairs are well handled and result in her maximum performance.


ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vendor Management

  • Tender organization (in cooperation with Procurement team)
  • Organization of annual feedback sessions, collect feedback, prepare materials
  • Day-to-day communication with vendors
  • Exchange of documents
  • Matter management & e-billing solution administration
  • Drafting and processing engagement letters
  • Preparing and processing contracts with legal vendors

Financials

  • Support in managing legal budget
  • Keeping track on Legal team financials (on outside legal counsels spends)
  • Cooperation with BSO and Finance Teams on managing payments
  • Managing invoices of legal vendors
  • Coordinating budget and RE planning

Reporting

  • Taking care of data collection (extraction from the systems, gathering information from other functions)
  • Preparing reports based on the methodology shared by the Legal Director
  • Updating legal scorecard
  • Gathering data and reporting for BPMS routines

Data and Knowledge Management

  • Digital Archiving of All contracts and other legal documents
  • Keeping collaboration space (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams) updated
  • Collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Taking care of knowledge management within the Legal team incl. maintaining databases (e.g., permits and licenses, training materials)


Administrative and Technical Tasks

  • Organizing trainings and collecting participation data
  • Managing calendars of the Legal team
  • Organizing meetings
  • Administrating the meeting (incl. taking minutes, preparing materials, manage recording distribution and storage)
  • Managing travels of the Legal team (cooperation with agency, managing transport, accommodation, travel expenses)
  • Performing administrative tasks assigned to Legal related to management of the legal and compliance technology tools; acting as a key user for selected digital solutions
  • Prepare communication to the organization set on behalf of the Legal team

Job requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in law.Minimum working experience: fresh graduate.Knowledge, skills, competencies:

  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.IT: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and PPT).

Membership: Admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association.Skills:

  • Basic drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong oral communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of legal principles and applicable regulatory regime.
  • A keen sense of ownership, and highly adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
