Overview Of The Role
This role contributes to the recovery and quality work in the store and assists in preventing unnecessary costs to assets by giving products a second chance while keeping the net profit and sustainability in mind. He/she works together with the relevant store functions and matrix to identify, investigate, report, and follow up potential improvements regarding the recovery process and quality associated with IKEA items.
What You Will Do
- Collect the products from different locations of the store (customer returns, damage in the store and in transit, display, quality cases) in line with company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Identify the condition of the products and decide on further actions i.e. repack, sell in AsIs(circular hub), sell as parts, keep for internal spare parts, destruct in line with company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Display the products for sale in AsIs (Circular Hub) in a safe & commercial way while following the company Pricing principals and Display techniques.
- Provide visitors in AsIs (Circular Hub) with a positive shopping experience by being service-minded, ensuring that all relevant standards are met/exceeded, and general routines and housekeeping is of the highest standard.
- Understand the products well in order to offer the customer any required information on each product of IKEA range, its assembly instructions and required spare parts.
- Perform inventory in the AsIs (circular Hub) and any required investigation to minimize discrepancies, under the supervision of the Recovery Group Leader.
- Work closely with relevant functions to support efficient items flow through Recovery in order to maximize profit and secure compliance in the ways of working
Required Skills
Required skills to be successful
- Knowledge of selling techniques & customer service
- Knowledge of Goods handing and safety measures.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Good command of written and spoken Arabic is preferred.
- Computer literacy (windows-MS Office Apps)
