JOB TITLE

Project Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Project Management Office

Role Summary

Managing Global Solutions Strategic Projects & Initiatives in alignment with Majid Al Futtaim's strategic objectives and managing the full project management cycle. Gather and maintain all Initiatives Board Review I(RB) committees’ materials. Ensure timely reporting. Take an active role in regular status update & data analysis to ensure a high level of accuracy.

ROLE PROFILE

• Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Report projects progress at regular intervals to Global Solutions Senior Stakeholders and project team members.
• Create detailed project plan, define tasks, resource requirements and assemble project staff and monitor continuously progress of the plan and the budget and report back to the project sponsor.
• Identify and analyze projects risks, create mitigation plans and approve the mitigation plans, register the project risks and maintain close follow up.
• Manage potential and actual issues, take corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues and maintain issue log.
• Communicate effectively project expectations to the project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Articulate and negotiate consensus on a final vision of the core project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders, not forgetting the end-user.
• Work directly with team members or with their team leaders to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks including work done by third party.
  
  

Requirements

• University degree.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate project management, project management office “PMO”, system integration.
• Project management certification/courses (PMI, Prince 2, etc.)
• Very good English both spoken and written.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools .
