We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Executive to join our Financial Accounting and Treasury Team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.


Scope: Accounts Receivable Executive plays a critical role in the accounts receivable process for the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring timely communication of invoices to the clients as per their requirements to ensure timely collections as well ensuring the customers are billed on a timely basis. The position is also responsible for managing the credit insurance policy. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.


Financial

  • Manage the overall invoice communication process of the Group to ensure timely submission of invoices to the customers through their preferred mode of communication (i.e., electronically, hard copies, portal uploads etc) to facilitate timely collection of debt


Customer

  • Investigate and resolve billing inquiries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Business Units and the billing and assurance team to ensure all the information for billing is received on a timely basis


Process

  • Manage the overall unbilled revenue of the Company and ensure timely billing to the customers
  • Ensure invoices are delivered to the customers on a timely basis through their preferred mode of communication (i.e., electronically, hard copies, portal uploads etc)
  • Evaluate the credit worthiness of the customers through credit ratio analysis and review of the financial statements and provide recommendations in relation to the security requirements
  • Assist in managing the credit insurance policy by liaising with the insurers for limit approval, developing reports to monitor the outstanding receivables against the terms and conditions of the policy and identifying potential risks to the company
  • Prepare and present reports on credit insurance performance, risk exposure, and claims
  • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
  • Prepare month end schedules related to:
  • Time to invoice;
  • DSO
  • Aging reports
  • Unapplied and unidentified receipts


Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts receivable function
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable



Selection Criteria


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and/or part qualified Chartered Accountant or ACCA
  • 2+ years’ experience in financial accounting, or related roles
  • Experience of dealing with the insurers, ideally credit insurers
  • Strong understanding of accounting and VAT principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP (Oracle Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
