As the Classifieds Sales Manager, you will lead all commercial activities related to the Classifieds business stream . Your sole objective is to maximise the company’s classifieds revenues, while creating a solid and sustainable commercial structure that is scalable and replicable. You will lead a team of sales agents and team leaders

In this role, you will:

  • Set sales strategy, team mission and key objectives to be met
  • Support all classifieds commercial activities throughout the sales cycle leads management and allocation, cold calling, meetings booking, deal closing, contracts, account management
  • Develop financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term; Define revenues targets by team and individual
  • Hiring and coaching of sales agents and team leaders
  • Monitor sales performance and track all commercial KPIs, determine potential issues and take necessary actions to address them
  • Analyse sales, finance and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximise growth
  • Make sure all the necessary tools are in place to facilitate the team’s work
  • Plan team meetings and streams governance meetings
  • Get updates from all teams to keep a 360 eye on all commercial details
  • Come up with and implement all projects needed to boost the classifieds stream revenues or optimise the commercial processes
  • Establish contact with key clients and accounts, and remain close from the market through market visits
  • Put together tools and/or sheets needed to keep tracking of all sales activity
  • Review and develop operational process flows
  • Assess company rules to make sure they stay relevant and makes recommendations for necessary changes
  • Facilitate trainings to the team members to develop their skills and support their career growth
  • Develop customer centric account approach throughout the team and encourage team members to offer the best possible service to their clients
  • Keep up to date with market conditions, laws, and local development news.
  • Report progress to country manager and jointly decide on plans and solutions
  • Work with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Economics or equivalent
  • Min. 7 years’ experience as a sales consultant and 3 years as a People manager
  • Online sales experience is a plus
  • Working understanding of sales processes including questioning techniques, objection handling and closing methods
  • Working knowledge of dubizzle
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in both English and Arabic
  • Highly computer literate, adept at Excel, PowerPoint, and highly online savvy
  • Ability to work in a target driven company
