Officer - Procurement

Job Description

Responsible for procurement of goods for different departments in the facility, communicating with suppliers regarding obtaining quotations and generating purchase order.

Responsibilities

Checking for availability of goods/stock from the Stores department

Receiving approved purchase orders from seniors and ensuring that these are duly authorized

Processing purchase requisitions and orders, acquiring price quotations, and coordinating delivery of goods and services

Maintaining purchase orders i.e. expediting, change orders, cancellations, etc.

Coordinating sourcing for all goods and services required for designated facility

Coordinating purchase return

Required

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management/Finance/Material Management or relevant field OR

Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience

Desired

Master Degree in relevant field
