What you will be doing.
As our
BD Administrator you will provide full administrative support to the business development team to deliver in a timely manner and contribute to the Company’s growth. This role will require strong communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. In addition, you will:
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for large bids and proposals, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
- Maintain and update the bid process checklist/action tracker, ensuring timely follow-up on pending actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and compile bids for final submission, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Serve as a CRM administrator and advanced user support, managing database accuracy and optimizing functionality.
- Ensure high-quality CRM data entry and qualification processes to maintain data integrity.
- Generate detailed CRM reports and perform data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with pre-qualification processes and online client registration across all countries in the region.
- Provide administrative support for electronic pre-qualifications, vendor registrations, and portal submissions, including necessary documentation.
- Collect and manage updated general and specific vendor registration data, such as certificates and company documents.
- Liaise with regional and country admin teams to ensure timely renewal of certificates and required documents.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Business Development team, including organizing marketing events and other related activities
The role will be based in Cairo, Egypt. The candidate must have the right to live and work in Cairo, Egypt. Flexibility to working hours from time to time.
What we are looking for.
To succeed in this position as a BD Administrator, you will expertly manage bid documentation and processes with keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Your ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with various teams will ensure timely and accurate bid submissions. Additionally, proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications will support your success in this role. In addition, you will have:
- Skilled Administrative Professional with a solid educational background and experience in supporting business operations.
- Extensive experience in the Marine and Offshore industry, providing specialized administrative and sales support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, file management, and internet-based tools, ensuring efficient task execution.
- Strong command of English, with excellent oral and written communication skills for clear and professional correspondence.
- Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage tasks, consistently delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates a professional attitude, maintaining a positive and focused approach in all tasks.
- Team-oriented, capable of multitasking effectively and performing well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Adept at time management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proficient in CRM systems and their functionalities.
- Familiar with ABL Group’s business segments and service offerings.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in managing large datasets and conducting performance analysis.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience in preparing bids.
