Business Development team lead is a professional who oversees a team of consultants that help businesses identify and implement solutions to improve their performance, efficiency, and profitability.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyzing the current state of the business, its goals, challenges, and opportunities
  • Developing and presenting strategic plans and proposals to address the business needs and objectives
  • Conducting high level customer presentation
  • Qualify sales leads
  • Handover the qualified leads to the sales team for follow up and closure
  • Clod calling
  • Contacting potential customers over the phone or using online tools
  • Leading and managing the implementation of the proposed solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance
  • Monitoring and evaluating the results and impact of the solutions, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating the consultant team, ensuring their professional development and performance

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, management, marketing, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, consulting, or a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful business solutions and achieving client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of relevant tools, methods, and frameworks for business analysis and development
  • B2B sales experience and familiar with the sales process
