Purpose of the Job:

Support and manage ICT strategic projects by assisting in team coordination, ensuring quality, and facilitating communication between stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist in monitoring the progress of ICT projects, ensuring that project plans, scopes, and resources are effectively managed and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Team Coordination: Support the management of project tasks and help project managers in overseeing their responsibilities to maintain project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and alignment between clients, stakeholders, and the project team to support project objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Assistance: Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by organizing meetings and supporting customer interactions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cost Management Support: Contribute to the development of cost-effective strategies to ensure the efficient completion of projects without compromising quality.
  • Risk Identification: Help identify and address risks to avoid project delays or reputational damage.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that necessary permits and legal documents are in place and maintained throughout the projects duration.
  • External Partnership Coordination: Support the management of external contracts and partnerships with agencies as needed for program delivery.
  • Financial Monitoring: Assist in handling project financials, ensuring accurate financial monitoring and reporting.
  • Contract and Pre-Sales Support: Participate in contract preparation and pre-sales meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assist in tracking project performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Help discover opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity across projects.
  • Change Management: Support the application of change, risk, and resource management principles to ensure project success.
  • Reporting: Assist in providing detailed reports and presentations on project progress, financials, and outcomes to top management.


Job Specification:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.


Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within ICT or a related field.

  • Strong coordination and team support skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in budgeting and cost management, with a focus on efficiency.
