About The Job

Manage and develop the assigned key accounts portfolio and achieve the sales targets and objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer organizations. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the market share of the company's products and services..

Key Accountabilities

Sales Performance

  • Plan and execute sales strategies and activities to achieve the assigned sales targets and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse the sales performance and market trends and provide feedback and recommendations to the Department Manager.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with key accounts and ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services to the customers.
  • Oversee the credit terms and payment collection from key accounts working closely with operation team and financial team to minimize outstanding dues and bad debts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for key accounts contributing to financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Manage discounts and other financial incentives offered to key accounts ensuring they are within approved limit as and align with company policies.
  • Oversee the consumption of services/ products by customers/ clients to ensure the threshold limits are met.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong and long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer organizations.
  • Understand the customer needs and expectations and provide solutions and support accordingly.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings with the customers and provide them with product updates, market insights, and technical assistance.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues and escalate them when necessary.
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential key accounts within the assigned territory or segment.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis and identify the gaps and opportunities for the company's products and services.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotations to the prospective customers and follow up on the sales leads.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company's brand and generate leads.

Management Reports

  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Sales/ Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 10 experiences in sales, account management, or business development with at least 5 years in the automotive, fleet, or transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly customer-oriented and relationship-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
